University

Subcontracted via Provision

Project Scope:

This project uses both Crestron and Q-SYS systems for control and audio. The Crestron system handles control functions, while the Q-SYS system manages audio. The NVX AV over IP (AVoIP) system is also included for network-based connectivity. The setup is installed in two identical rooms at a university. Each room has 6 input sources: BYOD, dedicated PC, document camera, Air Media for wireless presentations, and both audience and presenter camera feeds. Multiple displays in the room show the content simultaneously.

A 10-inch touch panel is used to control the room’s AV systems. The user can manage source switching, audio levels, and camera controls all through the touch panel, making it easy to control everything in one place.

Technology Used:

  • Crestron GUI and Controls programming using Crestron Simple Windows
  • Crestron Graphical User Interface using Crestron VTPro
  • Q-SYS control and audio programming
  • Crestron NVX configurations

Technology stack

This is a Crestron-based project, where all devices are controlled by a Crestron processor. The programming was done using Crestron SIMPL Windows, and the user interface (GUI) was created in Crestron VTPro. For audio, Q-SYS Designer was used to handle all the programming.

Other Projects

Utilities Clients

This project involved designing and programming AV systems for three distinct room types: large presentation, staff breakout, and reception areas.

AVProgramming

Food & Beverages Clients

This project is Crestron-based, utilising BIAMP audio controls. Programming was completed for a single room, featuring a TSW-770 touch panel.

Engineering Firm Clients

This project for Corporate Client involved a Crestron-based system integrated with Q-SYS audio controls. The programming encompasses multiple rooms.
