Hospital Command Center
Project Scope:
This project integrates both Crestron and Q-SYS systems for control and audio. The Crestron system handles all control functions, while the Q-SYS system manages the audio. A Wyrestorm Media over IP system is also included for network-based connectivity. The system features multiple input sources, including 9 PCs, laptops, Microsoft Teams Yealink conferencing kit with Yealink control touch panel for video conferencing and Cameras for video captures of the meeting participants. KVM switching is also added in this system to switch keyboard and mouse control between the selected input source PC.
The video wall setup consists of 12 displays with multiple screen layout options. Users can choose the display layouts using the touch panel: a single display layout, where any source can be displayed on a single selected display, and 2×2 layouts, where sources can be shown across four displays 2×2 configured layout.
All of the AV room controls can be managed through touch panels, with a 22-inch touch panel on the table and a 10-inch wall-mounted Crestron touch panel.
Technology Used:
- Crestron control programming
- Q-SYS audio programming
- Wyrestorm encoder and decoder configurations
- Video wall layout configurations
Technology stack
This project uses a Crestron-based system, where all devices are controlled by a Crestron processor. The programming was done using Crestron SIMPL Windows, and the user interface (GUI) was created in Crestron VTPro. For audio, “Q-SYS Designer” was used to manage the audio programming.
Other Projects
Utilities Clients
This project involved designing and programming AV systems for three distinct room types: large presentation, staff breakout, and reception areas.
Food & Beverages Clients
This project is Crestron-based, utilising BIAMP audio controls. Programming was completed for a single room, featuring a TSW-770 touch panel.
Engineering Firm Clients
This project for Corporate Client involved a Crestron-based system integrated with Q-SYS audio controls. The programming encompasses multiple rooms.
